  • How many BondBrackets do I need?
    BondBrackets are sold individually so it is entirely up to you!, it all depends what shelving configuration you want to create, and how wide you want your shelves to be. A minimum of 2 brackets is required to support a single shelf. 2 brackets will comfortably support 10kg in weight - approx 3 x 17.5cm pots. If you are planning to create a shelf the width of a full Colorbond panel we recommend an additional third or fourth bracket is used per shelf to support the middle and prevent sagging over time.
  • How much weight does a BondBracket hold?
    BondBrackets can very comfortably hold 5kg per bracket. We recommend limiting the weight distributed across a shelf spanning one full Colorbond fence panel be kept to a maximum of 20kg (roughly 6 x 17.5cm plant pots)
  • Do BondBrackets fit ALL types of Colorbond fence?
    BondBrackets are designed specifically for the vast majority of Colorbond fencing. The only Colorbond fence cap/design that a BondBracket will not fit is the rounded LYSAGHT style cap (see image below).
  • Can I use BondBrackets on any other type of fence?
    No, BondBrackets are specifically designed for Colorbond fencing.
  • Do BondBrackets come in other sizes or lengths?
    BondBrackets are manufactured in two standard lengths, 30cm and 80cm. These lengths create shelving perfectly aligned with most typical home windows. Custom bracket lengths can sometimes be accomodated assuming a sufficient quantity is ordered. If you would like us to manufacture a custom order, please email us your enquiry, or give us a call to discuss.
  • Do BondBrackets come in a variety of colours?
    BondBrackets are supplied with their galvanised silver finish, but can be quickly and easily painted in whatever colour you like. If you are looking for an invisible finish, Mitre 10 and Bunnings both stock a range of inexpensive spray paints in Colorbond-specific colours to match your exact fence shade.
  • Do you post Australia-wide?
    Yes! BondBrackets can be shipped to any location Australia-wide. All BondBracket shipments are sent via Australia Post and tracked for your peace of mind (Tracking number confirmation supplied at time of dispatch). Australia Post charges are dictated by the size and weight of the package and your delivery location.
  • Do you post overseas?
    No, at this time BondBrackets are only available in Australia.
  • How is postage calculated?
    All BondBracket shipments are sent via Australia Post and tracked for your peace of mind (Tracking number confirmation sent to purchaser via email at time of dispatch). Australia Post charges are dictated by the dimensions and weight of the package and your delivery location.
  • Do you supply shelving?
    No, but a variety of suitable and inexpensive shelving options can be easily purchased from any local hardware outlet (for example, Mitre 10 or Bunnings). BondBrackets are designed to accomodate a standard shelving plank (15cm width). If exposed to the elements we recommend weatherproofing.
  • What shelving options do you recommend?
    BondBrackets are designed to accomodate a standard shelving plank (15cm width). If exposed to the elements we recommend purchasing a weatherproof option (or weatherproofing yourself with varnishing). Our customers certainly do not limit themselves to using standard wooden shelving though, we've seen all kinds of creative BondBracket uses. BondBrackets can support any type of shelving of suitable dimensions, as well as more creative solutions like self-watering pots, hanging baskets, hooks, outdoor ornaments. As long as the weight requirements are met, there are so many options available!
  • Do you offer refunds?
    If a product is faulty, yes. Returns will be accepted within 30 calendar days of the date of receipt by the purchaser. To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in the same condition it was in at the time of dispatch. A receipt or proof of purchase must be presented to qualify for product replacement or refund. Assuming the above conditions are met, customers are welcome to request either a replacement product, or a refund. You will be notified when your return is received and of the status of any replacement or refund request. Refunds will be processed and credited in accordance with your original method of payment (Credit Card, EFTPOS or Paypal). The refunded amount will exclude postage costs. The time taken for refunds to be received by the purchaser will depend on the payment method used and the relevant card issuer's policies.
